6.1 Validator Configuration and the Dual Nature of Operations

[Balancing Security and Utility] In the DEP Protocol, to achieve both blockchain security (decentralization) and application processing capacity (utility), we have established operational rules for validators that separate consensus formation from node actual operation (workload).
【Basic Configuration】
  • Total Validators: Approximately 100
  • Total Physical Servers (Operators): Server operators are distributed to provide optimal workloads according to the number of validators.
[Distinct Operational Modes] Validators operate differently in "Consensus Formation" and "Practical Work" as follows:
1. Role in Consensus Formation (Consensus)
[Independent Operations] Work related to blockchain security, such as block generation and attestation (approval), is performed independently by each validator, similar to Ethereum. Even if they reside on a single physical server, each validator possesses an individual "private key" and "voting rights."
[Ensuring Decentralization] By taking turns in block generation (e.g., Round Robin) and individually signing approval votes, the network's decentralization and security are guaranteed.
2. Role in Module Execution (Workload)
[Collaborative Teamwork] For "heavy practical work" unique to the DEP Protocol, such as AI data verification and DePIN control, validators work jointly as a single team. Because these tasks require high computing power, they are executed using shared high-performance server resources rather than being processed individually.
[Reward Distribution] These are recorded on the protocol as "joint achievements of validators," and the generated rewards are distributed evenly among validators (license holders). Reward opportunities for each validator are adjusted to be equal. However, weighting may be applied based on a proprietary validator rating system.

6.2 Decentralized Data Verification Software Sales

[Recruiting Partners] Towards the full operation of the DEP Protocol ecosystem (scheduled for November 2026), we are recruiting corporate partners to support the network foundation and starting sales of dedicated verification software (licenses).
[Value Proposition] Companies purchasing and operating this license gain the right to earn continuous DEP rewards as compensation for their contribution to DEP Chain transaction processing and data verification tasks.

2. Roadmap

[Timeline] The schedule from purchase to monetization start is as follows. The period until full operation will be used for operation verification in the testnet environment and for hardware procurement and setup.

  • 2026 Q1: Sales Start (Pre-sales) Start of license sales and onboarding of partner companies.
  • 2026 Q3: Setup Period Construction of physical servers, installation of software, and connection testing on the testnet.
  • November 2026: Mainnet Full Operation (Monetization Start) DEP Chain launches. From this point on, rewards (DEP) corresponding to block generation and data verification tasks will be generated daily.
